Call for Papers

WCHFA-2010 will edit and publish the Collected Papers. Sincerely welcome experts in the related field to submit your papers. Technical papers presented at WCHFA-2010 will be selected from paper proposals submitted to the program committee. The selected papers could be retrieved by EI or SCI.
The program committee will consider all paper proposals submitted by the deadline of 15 May 2010.

 

Paper Proposal Form
A paper proposal, containing about 500 words, should contain the following information:
●  Description of the proposed paper: Summarize the scope and character of the work and describe how this paper will differ from other work in the area.
●  Results and Conclusions: Describe the results to be presented in the paper and state specific conclusions of the work.
●  Area of interest: The program committee requests that all paper authors indicate which of the research area the paper proposal relates to.

Programme Committee Selection Procedures
Paper proposals are evaluated in accordance with the following criteria:
●  The paper proposal should contain significant new knowledge or experience in some field of relevance.
●  Data in the paper proposal must be technically correct. It must present the results of field experience.
●  The substance of the proposed paper must not have been published previously in trade journals or other professional or technical journals.
●  Prior to paper proposal submission, clearance must be obtained. Any problems concerning clearance should be outlined when the paper proposal is submitted.
●  The proposed paper may present information about equipment and tools to be used in exploration and production. Such paper proposals must show the definite applications and limitations of such equipment and should avoid undue commercialism and extensive use of trade names.
●  The paper proposal must be written in English.
●  If the paper proposal form is reproduced on a word processor or submitted via email, it is critical that all information requested on the original form be included.

Commercialism
The program committee has a stated policy against the use of commercial trade names, company names and language that is commercial in tone, in titles, text or presentations. Use of such terms will result in careful scrutiny by the program committee evaluating paper proposals and the presence of commercialism in the paper may result in it being withdrawn from the program.

Preparation of YOUR PAPER
●  Authors of papers selected for WCHFA will be notified by 15 June 2010.
●  The maximum desired length of any paper is 5,000 words, including figures and tables.
●  Detailed instructions on the preparation of your paper and presentation will be sent to the corresponding author of each accepted paper.
●  WCHFA assumes no obligation for expenses incurred by authors for travel, lodging, food, registration or other expenses.
●  Selected authors will be required to register and pay the speaker fees.
